I have one question on your parents' landing. They are in Canada, how they land in 彩虹桥? do they need to go to the US first, then come back? which means you need to apply the US visa for your partents first. Is it right? -dishui(穿石); 2011-1-18 (#6463770@0)

Yes, they have to go to US custom. However, they don't have to have US visa. They don't really enter US.US custom will reject their entry and print a document for them. PM your email address to me and I'll try to find one on my home computer.(You want the letter to require transfer your sponsorship approvement to Buffalo, right?) They won't acknowledge the receipt.About the Visitor Visa extension, you just do it as usual with any reason such as travel, celebrate Chinese New Year with your family, etc. You may use waiting for the sponsorship approvement as the last reason if your sponsorship approvement is really coming soon.
