相约北美 / 探亲团聚 / Sponsor parents - application status questionWe mailed the application on Sep 2008, and checked the status today, it says:
"We received your application to sponsor xxx on September 11, 2008. We started processing your application on April 8, 2010. "
If our application was processed on April 8 2010, then why on cic website,
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp
it says
"39 months / (working on applications received on August 2, 2007)"??

started processing跟processed are totally different. August 2, 2007是PROCESSED，APPROVED。 你的是开始PROCESS, PROCESS个一两年也不出奇啊。
