公立的不行, 只有父母是学生签证或是工签的孩子过来,能上公立的学校,不要钱. 探亲的属于短期签证,不行.

I called the school board and the answer is YES, the kid can study in Canada for only 6 months and Yes, the kid has to pay the international student fee, around 10000/year as you said. Thanks so much.
