相约北美 / 探亲团聚 / 各位同学，我有朋友即将技术移民从国内来，他们听说可以把家里的家具什么的都海运过来，不用交纳加拿大海关的关税，真是这样的吗？有哪位同学试过，麻烦讲下经验。怎么办手续？海运费用贵吗？如果不划算，还不如在加拿大重新买家具。谢谢。

每个新移民有1万的免税额度，只要运过来物品价值不超过1万加元，就不必交关税，切记在人入境时要申报还有货物要运来，他们会让你填表并盖章。

谢谢你的指点。 请问如何证明给他们是一万加币？ 要出示发票吗？ 另外，请问你知道随后物件运来有期限限制吗？是否可以运两次，只要加起来不超过一万加币？海运费用贵吗？谢谢。

please don't missleading. There is no limit for new immigrants. You can bring as much as you can. If you can't bring them when you land, please have goods-to-follow lists stamped by custom. My friend even bought a BMW from Europe.
