相约北美 / 探亲团聚 / share info reg. the progress of parents sponsorship, received confirmation letter on July 12, 2007. Got a call today to confirm my mother's birthday, apparently I put a wrong date.I have been told that the decision will be made by the end of the week, pray.....

查过了，查不到。用的是RESIDENCE CONFIRMATION 的CLIENT ID 和DOC NUMBER.都说找不到。当年我是被LG配偶移民过来的。还有就是今年我们还没有报去年的税。不知道这些会否影响。

不用担心，可能你的通过信已经在路上了。看看我有两家2007年1月递表的朋友：他们都是2009年同一个月收到通过信贷。其中一家之前收到过CIC的电话，问他们的老人家是不是在加拿大，当时两位老人家都在加拿大住了过一年，就送到水牛城，6个月就拿到PR。另外一家的老人在国内，没有电话，直接通过送去北京，现在还在漫长的等待中。

你是说他们不把通过信给我而是直接送去了北京？但是不是应该是寄个PACKAGE给我好让我准备移民的材料的吗？如果他们寄给我国内的父母，他们看不懂英文的，也不知道怎么准备啊。请大家解释一下这个流程是怎样的。我父母在中国。没有住满一年过。

通过信和你父母的表格和要准备什么资料都是先寄给你。我的意思是CIC没有打过电话给我朋友，就直接把他父母的case转到北京处理。另一个朋友因为父母当时在加拿大已经呆了一年多，CIC就问他是在Buffalo还是回北京办。

I just check the status online - "Decision made", it said they received my application on June 21, 2007. And sent me a letter on May 4, 2010. Hopefully it's a good news. Good luck to all.

I came home earlier to pick up something, just about to leave, the phone rang, thought about whether to pick it up for a second, then saw the caller ID something to do with Government, so lucky I answered the phone.They should leave a message if no one is home, but have to make sure you have updated contact information, very important.
