No. It's built in 1983. But there was no cracking there three months ago.

for a 20-years house? i think you should ask knowledgeable contractor/engineer to come see. some construction site near your house? even so, still needs professional to check.

can't do that by only looking at your pic., since your house is 20-y-old. someone needs to go to your house and check, up and down, in and out.

不是太明白这个liner是什么样的，装在烟道里面用来固定炉壁吗？我的壁炉还是传统烧木头的，不是烧气的。多谢指点。

以前的壁炉是用砖墙做的，燃烧产物二氧化碳与水反应生成碳酸腐蚀砖墙。时间久了就会与室内墙壁分离。 liner 是一种金属材料用来代替砖墙。
