We received your application to sponsor "My mother's Name" on July 15, 2008.
We started processing your application on March 11, 2010.
I don't think that means they'll approve soon. Looks like "in process" will last for a long period because the processing time is now 34 months.

Hi, I sent application on Sep.2007.I still can not check the processing time on wedsite. I use the #### in the recepit and my information or the #### of landing paper and my information. Maybe something wrong. Can you please tell me how you check it? Thanks.

client IDI used the 8-digit client ID with a dash " - ' in between. The client ID is on the face of my permanent resident card.

receipt number does also work. Guess they haven't put your file on the system. I don't think you need to worry. They will approve 07 first, then 08.

目前CIC的这一反常举动，如果我没有估计错，可能要关闭父母移民大门。每年15，000如果密西沙家和各地Local Office的总数如果已经达到450，000那么再接受新的案件毫无意义，因为处理完这些就要30年。
好像技术移民也再做同样的事，清点人数。
30年是估计，可能最后的积累案件会在20年左右（按每年15，000）。
所以，如果没有申请的人，请自行判断要不要递。

早在05年我就知道了，很多知名的移民专家和律师都跟我提过，所以我才义无反顾地反对政府的行为。有记者居然会问：要是父母不能移民了，怎么办？我回答：人人都有父母，亲属团聚移民没有父母的话，加拿大枉自称自己是人道主义国家！

个人认为网上能查到信息并不意味着能马上收到结果，看论坛上最近受到批复的都是07年的，如果有哪位08年的收到了批准信，请打个招呼。移民局不会这样明显不公平办事，07的还没批，08的就批了，所以，查不查的到可能不是关键呢。
