student visa是一张大纸，订在护照上的。你说的应该是visitor visa吧？

好象没有规定的。只要在开学以前走就是了。反正学生签证有几年的有效期啊，到时候如果你的学业还未完成，就要续签了。

There is a difference between student visa and student authorizationYou can find the expiry date from the visa, which means, you have to enter canada before that date; when you arrive in canada, the immigration officer will issue you a student authorization based upon how long your study will be and this authorization will be your legal document in canada.
