枫下茶话 / 美国话题 / 请问在美国买何种牌子的新车开回Canada,warranty是可以被local dealer认可的。我知道Honda不承认。谢谢了。

From what I know, null. Canada and US are totally different markets.

Suggest you simply call the car dealer in US directly (around Bufflao area, they know much more on this)Here are something I can recall if these are still correct
Some manufacturers, including Acura, BMW, Chrysler, GM, Honda, Lexus, and Toyota, prohibit their US dealers from selling vehicles for export.
The U.S. warranty might be invalid in Canada or even if the US warranty is valid in Canada, some benefits might differ or be unavailable.
So checking the dealer in US and Canada is your best bet

2 centsuseless to talk to dealers about warranty in this case because the manufacturers offer the warranty.
if the manuf. prohibit , there is no solution at all! Dealers only want to sell a car without caring warranty thing!

Custom allows you to import almost any cars. But Custom has no knowledge about warranty information.

warranty services, what did you refer to? paid regular service (such as oil change) or non-paid defect repair?if you meant the last one, that would be a great news for these who wants to buy Toyota new car in US and then get warranty in Canada. However if just regular service you need to pay, that is meaningless.
