The problem here is that among that 62% of people, some voted for NDP, some for Liberal, some for Bloc, but none of them voted for the Coalition of 3.The fair way to do it is to have election with Coalition vs. the Conservative. But they can't remove a democratically elected PM behind closed door.

There won't be winners from this type of arguement. One side says most voters support coaliation. The other side says even more portion of the voters were against Dion to be PM. This would be endless arguement.

Personally, I am against coalition with a simple reason - I would never vote for a party (no matter it is Grits or Tories) which would give any cabinate seats to NDP (let alone minister of industry or even finance).

However, I admit that the coalition is perfectly legal (just as prorogue parliment is not nice but, again, legal). So, if coalition gets the power, I'd be quite upset but have to just accept it (although Grits will most likely lose my vote next time).
