It varies. Better check with the HR in your company.In the company I work for, YES. In addition to the EI paid by the government, the company compensates to 95% of the salary.

公司支付的那部分,都是自愿的。与hrdc无关。每个公司政策不一样,问一下人事部门就清楚了。一般大公司福利好一点。

That belongs to a company's benefit. Like Nortel, a woman can get 100% salary for her first three months leave(HRDC gives her 55% monthly payment and nortel compensates her another 45%), and get 75% salary for her rest leave.
