I don't think so. everything depends on citizenship judge. if the judge approves you, you can get the citizenship even your physical days less than 1095.

this is TRUE! they will not return the application forms to the applicant. Take me as example,I was actually in short of 163 days as i went to US for a position on H1B, I filled residency questionnaire, wrote a test, took an interview with the judge, I got approved! took an oath! so, guys, if you think you should apply for citizenship, just do it. 1095-day rule is not absolutely followed. EVERYTHING DEPENDS ON JUDGE, AS I SAID BEFORE! I hope those guys without any experience dont mislead other ppl here please.

exactly, i put 930. after i wrote a test, i got aquestionnaire form. then interviewed with judge. the hearing was friendly between us. everything went smoothly. step by step. BTW, i am now still in USA. I told the judge the fact and he understood it.

as far as I knew, some appliants even accumulated 1095 days and still got questionnaire form filled. it is a ROUTINE process, not a double-check

not like that, I knew some of my friends got the form and they never left Canada after landing.

Have you read the instruction for citizenship application form? it clearly statesif you are under 1095 days, you can apply but depends on Judge's approval. CIC officers have no reason to return your form. it is against law.

Deciding to apply with less than 1,095 days of physical presence is a personal decision that should be made carefully while taking into account your personal circumstances. For example, some people will never reach 1,095 days of physical presence because of their occupation. In this situation, you might decide to apply with less than 1,095 days of presence

The key issue, I feel, is that you should persuade judge you have strong bond with Canada.

Hi, what were the key points you used to persuade the judge that you had strong bond with Canada? Thanks!
