谢谢你的答案,这道题是国内2000年1月TOEFL的语法第七题,正确答案是A,可我找遍所有的资料还是不知道A和C的区别!

我选C,对不对?All是adj.,dancers是主语,All of 里all是pron.请问是哪一年的第几题?

应选C。如果选A,那么ALL OF 后面少了一个THE,它限定了一个范围,即说话人和听话人双方都知道DANCERS是指谁;选C则没有这个CONNOTATION。

我发现在TOEFL真题给出的其他的文章句子中,ALL后接名词,有时前面有THE,有时就没有THE。不明白啊!

刚才问了一下办公室了的NATIVE SPEAKER,他说选A是对的,原因:IT‘S A GENERAL STATEMENT,RATHER THAN THAT CONCERNING A SPECIFIC GROUP OF PEOPLE。

You can use "all" or "all of" before nouns with a determiner, but "all", not "all of" is used before nouns without a determiner. So, the right answer is "C".

all 和both是特例,可以直接加在名词前面,其他的不定代词和不定形容就不可以了

是A呀,记得以前老师讲的时候all of 和many of是放在一起讲的。做主语的时候,all of us like sth. or all like somthing(张道真)

"All of" is used before personal pronouns, but you can put "all" after the pronoun.

如果选A,OF后面一定要有一个THE;而选C则后面可以有THE,也可以没有。在有THE的情况下,表示说者和听者都明白DANCERS指谁;没有THE则是泛指。根据所给条件,我认为应选C。

问过了公司一个蓝眼睛的同事,他说是C。问他为什么不是别的,他就说:The others don't make sense,别的他也说不上来了。语言嘛,就是这样的,比如关于上海话,靡鹿就比我更有发言权。

!!!新东方的答案错了, 应该是C ( ALL OF后面应该有THE, 否则, 后跟名词的话只能用ALL ),更正都早已出来, 为什么就老要拘泥于"正确答案"呢? 中国式的教育害人不浅啊!!!

这个问题又到这儿了。好多人说新东方错了,我也觉的应该选C,All 有泛指的意思吧,而All of 有特指,一般要有惯词或代词。

c is right. When a noun is specific, using of after all is optional; when a noun is nonspecific, of does not follow all.
