I've registered FI school for my daughter. I'm in the York region, so the program is start at grade 1.Actually I've the same concern as you. The main reason I choose FI is I don't want my daughter feels bored at grade1 English shool, since she has already learned a lot grade 1 stuff and a little bit French from her school right now. And I also got very good feedback from my friends who sent their kids to the FI, not only one, and all of them don't know French at all. I took my daughter to visit the FI school in my area, and she likes it very much.

By the way, you could search the old discussion on this topic here.Just remember one people here said "English, Chinese and Spanish will be most important languages in the future". Unforturnately we don't have Chinese and Spanish immersion here
