请教各位,房东要求房客以现金方式付房租,也就是说报税时房东不报房租收入,房客不报房租支出,这样的话,房租应减多少为宜?谢谢!

房租的最多退税额是250+房租的2%。所以我说要50/月还是划算的。

Are you single or family ? The caculalion formula is here:If you are single:
($250 or less + 2% x your total rent + $100) - (your total income - 4000) x 2%
If you are a 2 people family:
($250 or less + 2% x your total rent + $200) - (your family total income - 4000) x 2%
If your income is high, you get nothing from the government even you claim the rent.
Even your income is 0, the maxium you get from government is around $400 if you claim the rent.

Correction : the $100 or $200 is NOT related to rent, it is ONT sales tax credit ($100 for each, and $50 for kid)

The credit from the rent is not as much as you imagine becauseIf you income is 0, even you do not claim the rent, you still can get that $ 200 credit.
