你至少要让人明白你是要买房还是租房? 进一步:买房什么有要求?租房几个人住?

You mean Waterloo or KW, there are big differences. and what are you most mind, such as school area or year of the house or the community and which price you wish, do some work on MLS.CA first.

thanks for reply, more info followingthank for all.
Now I am living in London, and I want to buy my house in Waterloo in September. the bottum line of the hosue is $150000, detached, sem-detached and town house are all ok, 2 or 3 bedroom with garage, maximam 10km away from UW, so my wife can drive to school no too long. I do not want to sublet my rooms to others, there are a lot of trouble when sharing.
if the house is exellent but located in Kitchener, we will pick it.
if you have info, email jerry to: dingluyun@hotmail.com
thanks again

forget detached and semi-detached if your budget is so low.

You bottom line means what? the lowest or the highest? It is a little difficult to find a detached of this price, but maybe you can find some semi on Westvale or Erbsville. almost 5-10 KM from UW.The price of house in Waterloo do have a big increase in past two years and looks still hot now. so try to search in MLS.CA and look is there any chance. Good Luck.
