工作学习 / 科技杂谈 / 有个不重要的问题请教坛子里的高手:国际单位制把一米长度定义为光速的 1/c. 这 c 的标准以哪个实验室数据为准?以前好像有个温度系数很好的铂金棒放在英国(?)哪个地方作为1米标准,现在要校准 1米的标准长度,不可能各个国家从自己实验室做吧?

1米是光在真空中在1/299792458秒的时间间隔的行程。这个精度取决于你的测量设备的精度。你说的那个叫米原器,早就被废弃了。

一查才知道,国际米原器早在1960就被放弃了,可我们小时候的课本居然还把它当标准。

秒还真是有严格规定的:在现行国际单位制下,在1967年召开的第13届国际度量衡大会对秒的定义是:铯133原子基态的两个超精细能级间跃迁对应辐射的9,192,631,770个周期的持续时间。

奥,那是我记错了,我底下回帖说的一米的定义应该是你说的这个1秒的定义;不过问题又来了,为啥色133这个能级跃迁就一定是恒定时间呢?估计涉及到量子力学了吧?

校准是有精度要求的,你只要使用符合精度的设备来校准就行了。米原器的时候也不是用它来校准的

米原器难以满足校准要求是真,但当初制作这个米原器是为了校准用的。现在废除了旧的校准方法,但一定有公认有效的新的校准方法

怎么能称为“符合精度标准的设备“?这不是在转圈圈吗?谁来保证这台“符合精度标准的设备“和另一台“符合精度标准的设备”得到完全相同的测量结果?那可是9位的有效数字

你应该去了解一下测量学,这是一门学科。你想要9位有效数字,用普通的秒表是达不到这个精度的。另外,同一个东西,同样的测量设备和同样人,每次测量的结果是有可能不同的,只要在精度范围之内都是有效值。

我记得是某个原子 or 离子 在真空中发射的激光波长的x倍是一米?这种波长是恒定不变的,所以x倍也恒定不变

我也有这个印象,作这样的规定逻辑上没有问题。但现在把长度标准用速度来定义,觉得有些怪怪的。电的标准用电流而不用电量定义,也是很奇怪

定义是没有错的,只有到了原子极才能找到恒数。比如秒的定义就是从原子的波动率来的,然后长度从光速和秒推出来。定义如此,实际测量校准跟精度相关,1mm精度有它的校准方法,1um的校准方法又不相同

时间秒的定义我有印象,是从某晶振体取得,应该与你说的“原子振动”相一致。这么说,长度定义为一秒中光行距得到也属合乎情理。但如何操作得到这个长度呢?
