工作学习 / 事业工作 / 看大家讨论never mind, 以前真不知道说never mind是不礼貌,我和同事讨论问题时要是讨论了半天也没找到好的solution, 我有时会说never mind我再去查查资料
我的意思是算了咱们别浪费时间了。从来没人给我暗示这么说不礼貌。查了字典, never mind 本身有安慰别人不要着急的意思,当然也有拒绝回答的意思,能不能说不是要看 context 吗?
想问问大家不说never mind, 不说don't worry, 那怎么说呢?

很多时候取决于对方的口气。如果是关切安慰,就没有不礼貌。如果是急躁不耐烦,就是对你不满

这种情况下说never mind虽说不是不礼貌但是感觉有点草率不professional。应该说let's take it off the table for now (and move on to the next issue) 你如果真想继续讨论就再找时间讨论,不想就悄悄算了。这是我们开会时经常用到的一个phrase
. 开会时注意别的native speaker怎么说话,跟着学就是了。
或者说looks like this deserves a longer discussion, (如果你真想继续讨论但是没时间) can we table this for now (or can we postpone the discussion) and move on to the next item.

正确的说法,川普早教给大家了,应该说“Leave it with me"或者”Let me worry about it"
同理,比较粗鲁的词还有“Whatever"
还有某些情况下的”Please“, 比如该说”Can you please hold the door for me?" 却说成了“ Please hold the door for me"

可能真的跟语境有关。我发现我周围正经谈工作的时候是没人这么说话的。一般都是闲聊天时会出现这种词。有时候其中一人说waterever时,通常大家一起哈哈大笑,我都不知道这些词有粗鲁的意思。也许我太愚钝了,太大大咧咧了,不过真的不在意,也不影响同事关系

看语境和说话人语气,不是绝对的不礼貌。如果是关系比较近的同事谈论某话题一时无解时说的,有点儿“算了,不麻烦了,再议”的意思,不算rude.但那个帖主的情况,对方是有点轻视的意思。

Depend on a context. During discussions, if I raise a point and later on I realized that point is irrelevant, I would say "I take that point back, never mind". I don't think it is negative.
