The last time James Patterson and Howard Roughan teamed up for a novel (Honeymoon), it became a #1 bestseller and was named International Thriller of the Year for 2005. So we’re not surprised that their new book packs a powerful wallop of suspense, chills, and horrific surprises—and pulls you into its magnetic web from the very first page. Kristin Burn’s life has finally come together. She has a good shot at showing her photography at a prominent Manhattan gallery. Her day job—caring for two children—is fulfilling. And the man of her dreams may finally be ready to “seal the deal.” But Kristin’s life begins to unravel when a murderous nightmare begins to plague her, night after night, and eventually creeps into her waking hours. As her life turns stranger by the minute, Kristin is haunted and terrified. Is it all in her head? Or is the nightmare becoming her life? Soon, she uses the lens of her camera to decipher what’s real—and discovers that the lives of everyone she loves rest in her hands.

    • 作文课上老师说了,写academic essay不能用we, I,you,要一律用第三人称,否则会weaken your arguments
      • lol.
      • LOL
