本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛The sponsorship has been approved. The undertaking has been forwared to Buffalo. I am preparing Immigrant application for permanent residence and have two questions:

1. In the checklist from Buffalo visa office, No. 6 Police certificates and clearances:
Original police certificates or clearances from each coeach country in which you and everyone in your family aged 18 years or over have resided six months or more since reaching the age of 18.
My parents have two children: my brother and me. I do not think I need to provide Police certificate since I am currently permenent resident. But how about my brother? He is 30 years now and already not dependent child. Does he need a Police certificate for my parents' application?

2. In the previous sponsorship kit, I specify my mother as the principal applicant. When I received the approval letter from CPC, it says "This letter refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on behalf of My Father's name and family (My mother's name). It seems CPC considers my father as the principal applicant. My question is: can I still put my mother as the principal applicant in IMM0008?
