How to get rid of "Password protected screen saver"?

screensaver(ScreenSaver)
Help!!! On my laptop, from my company, the check box of "password protected" on the Display properities dialog box where I choice the screen saver is DISABLED. This results my laptop keeps lock for every five minutes' of idle. I don't want to re-type password every time to unlock the computer. Is there any way to work around? I tried to change registry key "screensaverissecured" to "0" on Hkey_Current_user, but it kept changing back to "1". OS: Windows 2000 professional, logon onto a Domain. Thanks many...

    • If registry key is reset to 1 everytime you log on the domain, then most likely SA didsomething in the login script. Thus, I guess there is nothing much you can do unless you r one of SAs :) -yellow(yellow); 2003-1-3 {57} (#952559@0)
