Cluster's technology management branch to provide strategic
direction for new projects, systems recovery, contingency and
day-to-day activities as the authoritative source for DB2 and
IMS database-management systems, in large complex 7X24 mainframe
and multi-tier application environment. You will:
provide technical advice/guidance to client groups; support
senior application developers; lead/architect corporate database
design, development projects; recommend data-management
strategy, disaster recovery plans to clients by assessing user
needs/requirements.
Qualifications: extensive knowledge of data-management,
information-architecture theory/principles/techniques,
data-modelling techniques; extensive knowledge of database-development
methodologies, Middleware technologies, programming languages,
data dictionaries, storage/retrieval, testing/implementation
methods, practices; extensive experience administering large
databases (DB2, IMS), IMS OLTP environments; strong analysis,
planning, problem-solving, analytical, evaluative skills;
excellent communication, interpersonal skills.
