to help grow our Conservation Corridor.
Join us for a unique, long-distance hike along the fantastic Beaver Valley section of the Bruce Trail, and help raise funds for the Bruce Trail Conservancy (BTC).
The Hike: Sunday June 22, 2014
Distance: 50 km
(1 km for each of the BTC's 50 years of preserving and conserving the Niagara Escarpment)
Route: Along the Bruce Trail in the Beaver Valley.
Starting at Kimberley Springs (near Wodehouse), the Challenge will take hikers through 10 beautiful BTC nature reserves including the Ken Young Property, the first property donated to the BTC in the 1970s, and conclude at the magnificent Pinnacle Rock Nature Reserve (near Duncan), generously donated to the BTC in 2013.
For those with a Bruce Trail Reference Guide, the starting point is on Map 26, km 81.4, and the end point is on Map 25 near km 31.4 (with the hike travelling through Map 27 on the way).
