Within five years I completed 6 Iroman, 17 70.3s, four marathons and 70 plus other races of varying lengths and disciplines. I also completed my Masters degree, earned five industry designations and had two little girls.
We have all seen some of the most inspiring stories of athletes who have competed in Kona. I will always remember Jon Blais and crying like a baby with my wife every time we watched him roll across the finish line.
