IDENTITY AND CIVIL STATUS DOCUMENTS
The following documents are required for you, the principal applicant, each of your family members and your dependent children, if applicable:
•Certificates of: birth, adoption, marriage, absolute nisi decree (Hong Kong residents), divorce, death.
•Custody order for your child and proof that you have fulfilled any obligation stated in the custody order;
•Citizens of the People's Republic of China must provide photocopies of the household register ("hukou")
•A photocopy of the bio-data page of your passport with a validity of at least 18 months. If you cannot submit this along with the application, provide it at a later date.
Note: For residents of the People's Republic of China, a kinship certificate is not acceptable as proof of relationship.

    Please submit original documented proof of your relationship with the sponsor in the form of the sponsor's birth certificate, previous houkou (household register) detailing the sponsor as part of your household, hospital birth records or other conclusive proof.

    我们那个年代，根本没有出生纸一说，（birth certificate），原来的户口出国时候就销了，后来父母搬家换地址，也就没有我的名字在户口上。这样，这两种东西我都不可能提供原件。别的东西可以吗？以前父母过来探亲做的亲属关系公证（当时也在探亲申请材料中用此公证证明过亲属关系，不止一次），这次可以用这个吗？

    希望有同样经验的人分享。再次谢谢！
    • 老的亲属关系公证应该也可以用，10年前他们是你父母，难道过了10年就成别人的父母了？我在办移民的时候让我父母去办公证，结果他们让我爸爸妈妈再重新办理亲属公证，我原来出国的时候有亲属公证书可以用的，他们为了赚钱，居然和我父母说要办新的，又让我们多花了钱。 -tracyd(等待明天); 2011-2-22 (#6523631@0)

        理论上我认为这个足够证明他们是我的父母，可以归于other conclusive proof的范畴，但是又拿不准，所以希望有经验的朋友分享一下。

        有人说探亲可以用亲属关系公证，移民（父母团聚）必须使用担保人的出生公证。是这样吗？我出国很多年了，出国前销了户口和身份证，而且从来没有办过出生公证，现在都不知道去哪里办。想email问问领事馆，又拿不准人家会不会理。
        • 我都忘了当时递交哪些文件了，反正要出生公正就拿户口本去做公正，他们要亲属证明，我们也拿户口本去做公正来证明那2个人是我的亲生父母。户口被取消了，那老的户口本还有么？以前住过的街道还有你们的关系资料么？公证处一定知道。建议去问问他们有何办法证明。 -tracyd(等待明天); 2011-2-22 {138} (#6523844@0)
          反正我的户口一直没有取消，所以对我们家人来说，这从来就不是一个问题。另外这里办父母移民的都出来很多年了。只是我们赵手办得比你也早几年罢了。

            里面没有看到明确要担保人的出生公证。 最后一条是 any other documents that you feel would demonstrate your relationship to your sponsor.
            但是不知道大象说的那行小字在哪里。可以指点一下吗？谢谢！
