First CIC has the parent immigration category and in their policy they say “to make the global service standard as equal as possible”.
The reality is parents applied from some country in 2010 already get their VISA, but parents applied from Beijing and some other places in 2007 even didn’t have a chance with their cases opened by CIC.
This is not about immigration issue, this is about fairness, and this is about a government how to fulfil their promise.
In fact, “NOT increase global parents immigration quote” is in the first principle of our rally.
Since CIC has this immigration category and still accepting new cases they shall process those cases in an equal way. Whether to limit future applications it is CIC’s call, but people already in the application procedure should be processed base on First-Come-First-Service as they declared.
