I tried, my parents' application was sent to Beijin in Apr. 2009, but I haven't got a case # yet. I do have a case # from Mississauga after the assessment is complete, but this case # doesn't work on cic.gc.ca. Any comment?

thx, but, no file / case # was rec'd in China either. A call was rec'd back in Apr. 2009 confirming receipt of application as per my brother.

Thx. Checked on cic.gc.ca as you advised and, the application was started for processing in May 2009. Is it normal that no file / case # received from the BJ office?
