I have 3 questions:

1. Richard refer to the case of 2009/2010 what that mean? 2009 to Mississauga or 2009 to Local oversea Visa Offices?

2. Why the charge raised dramatically from $350-$1500, I anticipate it will not exceed $500 per family this time.

3. Is those selected Test cases to appeal for over all processing time too long, or specific to different processing time between different oversea VO might caused from unfair quotes distribution?




"About the funding: We raised some funds back in 2003/2004 from some families (not more than $350/family) and of course this covered a fraction of our disbursements. Lorne Waldman, myself, and Vancouver lawyer Gerry Cuttler have been funding this litigation ourselves. Perhaps we should go again to the public and raise funds. We have a representative plaintiff, and we need a couple more recent ones for 2009/2010. The ones we selected as test cases in the past: the government did their files quickly, to try and sabotage our use of them as 'test cases'. "

    一旦材料准备好,他会联系邹志惠,开始游行等等...他的原话如下:

    People will need to prepare a copy of the fee receipt, a copy of what was sent to CIC, and a copy of any correspondence received from CIC.


    I think we may be looking at about $1500 per case for legal services, including taxes (GST), judicial fees ($50 per case to Federal Court). A detailed explanation will be provided. We're not sure yet!!!

    Fees only after I have all the paperwork in each case, and after I am satisfied that each case meets the requirements. That may be in April/May.


    The list s good to have for the journalists though.

    Olivia Chow in Toronto knows about the case. After I receive all the info, I will send her a summary. She is good, and fast! Same thing for the Liberal Party MP.

    The protest I will leave to the political people, as ethically, I am not sure as a lawyer on the case that I should be politically organizing....

      如果一但等配额分配完毕就很难更改:
      根据2005年的经验一次游行肯定是不够的:
      05年也是3 月5月游行2次,然后还要给CIC一定的考虑时间;所以我们剩下的时间已经不多了.

        可以考虑让CIC允许转香港,这是我们的今年工作重点.

              我不知道你现在组织的活动,是对CIC提出什么样的要求, 有具体的做法吗, 还是只是COMPLAIN北京时间拖得太久,比其他地方慢.

              可能你在其他贴子里已经说了你的想法,我看贴不仔细,MISS了,麻烦你能告诉挖吗?
