一般来讲， slide-in 的价格贵一些, 可以做到和两边 counter top 没有缝隙，builder 根据 range size 定制 kitchen cabinet / counter top. 使其高度宽度一致，而Freestanding range 就不要求那么精细，高度宽度差一点都没关系。

在店里还没这一款, 只能在website看. webiste only has one size available. not sure it is cooking top or bottom. cooking top has to match the countertop, the bottom has to match the cabinet. 麻烦, 早知道就不选slide-in 的了, 花钱找麻烦.
是的，你应该把型号，top 宽度，下面宽度，深度， top 高度，都发给 builder, 因为 slide-in range top 宽一点，刚刚好覆盖 counter top gap.

it's rare to see such nice builder...for range, top lines are Viking and Wolf. I think jenn-air is owned by Maytag now.

well, not so nice if it's a paid upgrade...unless you buy those 36-44'' range, a typical 30'' range, either slide-in or freestanding, would fit with standard kitchen.

i think WOLF is better than GE. I saw most high end kitchen using WOLF, SUBZERO, MIELE.
all you need to do is select the appliance, and sent the description to builder, and the kitchen company will design the cabinet to match your appliance.

jen-air range is ok. choose slide in range another issue is the look.

under the range it will have a cabinet. or if you want a build in oven or warming drawer under slide range, you need to make sure all the appliance to fit in that cabinet.
usually most of people will choose all the appliance (fridge, dishwasher..)from the same company. for the look and installing.
so you need to think about your other appliance.
We bought 30" KitchenAid gas slide-in stove and it fits builder's standard opening for stove, no gap at both sides but there is gap at the rear.

Because we plan to upgrade the whole counter to granite in the future, we don't mind that gap now. If you let the builder cut the counter fit your slide-in stove, there will be no gap at the rear but you need to pay upgrade price.
