Do you feel comfortable open up the furnace side panle?

Set the thermostat at a higher setting, found the furnace shut off switch in the area power it OFF then back ON, and wait for a fan to start, after the "purge" fan starts count for 10 to 15 seconds, Observe the igniter to turn on(Bright Red Hot), you may or may not see it, but it is ok, if should come on within the 20 seconds after the “purge”, if no any other action beside the fan turned on after 1 minutes. This is what you need to do.
Do you feel comfortable open up the furnace side panel?
Open it up if you are comfortable, (remove ONLY the "main furnace door", not the blower door.) locate the "CPU" which a white box or a control circuit broad. Visually search a blinking Red LED, most furnace use the blink LED as a self-diagnostic indicator, which tells you what is wrong and what is not working. If you see it blink 3 times. It means the "pressure switch not confirmed"

Where is the pressure switch????? Inside the unit, with the panel opened locate the pressure switch, it look like a "Hockey puck" have two wires and a rubber tub connected to it...use your finger or a small screw drive “ Tap” on it slightly while the fan is running... come back and tell me what you see after you done all this.更多精彩文章及讨论，请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net

      Have you look at the furnace controller "CPU" ? Some people call it computer. for me it is just a timing device monitors all safety switch and controls the gas valve to fire at the correct timing to heat up the house
      There is a Self Diagnost LED indicator on the CPU. If fan running ok, Locate the "Red LED" on the CPU PCB, if it steady "ON" mean control circuit is ok,
      if the LED is Flashs, count how many time,3 flashed=pressure switch not confirmed. 4 flashed =over heat, 5 flashe = some other switch is open,,,,,,,,,,if not Flashing LED it may be the inigtor not working,,,,,,
