本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛其实不管修什么法,都是在修信心,慈悲与专注力,上师的加持正是自己加深信心与慈悲心的来源,修行佛法有一个善知识真是非常非常的重要,如华严经讲;“善男子,菩萨由善知识的摄持不会堕入恶趣;由善知识的教导得以出离世间;由善知识才能得到恒时不离菩萨的无忘失妙行;由善知识得以成就菩萨的一切稀有妙行;由善知识才能依靠正觉之道断除业惑障碍,出离生死大城到达清净解脱之地。”
頂禮無比大悲主,具恩根本上師前,以下是上師教言:
1 《Faith from deeper understanding》
When Buddhist practitioners encounter proper teacher, from learning and contemplation, start to understand the deeper meaning of
─Suffering in Samsara,
─Rule of Cause & Result,
─The view of Boddhicitta,
─Self-nature wisdom,
The more they understand the meaning, the more they feel this is the only way out, then they generated deep genuine faith to who can lead them on this path, it is a natural process as their wisdom blossom more, instead of blind or stupid faith.
《智信》
當佛教徒遇到有緣的上師,經教示如法思維而明白:
─輪迴的苦
─因果報應
─菩提心的見地
─自性是佛的智慧
當他們理解越深刻,就越感覺到這是唯一的解脫出路,就會對指導他們明路的引路人生起深刻的虔敬信心,這是一個自然的過程,隨他們的體驗加深而信心增強,而不是盲目或是愚蠢的迷信。
2 《True Refuge》
"True Refuge" is completely surrender self-ego to pure vision.
Real Sutra is the nature of our mind.
《真正的皈依》
真正的皈依是在清淨見下放棄我執妄心,
究竟法義是離開遮障的真如自性本來面目。
3 《Enlightened attitude-Bodicita》
True accomplished yogi demonstrate wisdom, compassion, any words or behavior can reduce other people's suffering and ignorance. Before achieving this level, we need to engage in authentic practice diligently, and through skillful means.
Before our own enlightenment, we have lots of Karma and very limited capability, we can not even overcome our own sickness/poverty/feeling, let along helping other people effectively. With this view or motivation, for the sake of benefit self & others, we need to achieve our own enlightenment quickly, learn/contemplate/meditate diligently to achieve this goal, this kind of motivation and action called "Boddhicitta", "attitude of gaining enlightenment".
《「速成正覺的清淨動機」-「菩提心」》
真正證悟的瑜珈士在舉手投足間都體現了慈悲和智慧,每一句話或是一個動作都能減少他人的痛苦和無明,在達到這種証量前,我們需要如法善巧的精進修持。
在達到證悟前,我們有很多業障,能力非常有限,甚至不能克服自己的疾病/貧窮/情緒,無法有效普利眾生,用這種為自利利他求即生成就的動機及見地,精進聞思修,叫做「速成正覺的清淨動機」,又稱「菩提心」。
4 《True faith and Guru devotion》
Always keep good intention (Bodhicitta), and real faith to your own root Lama, cultivate the kind of unconditional faith not judged by your conceptual mind based on self-ego, if you can develop that kind of faith and Guru devotion beyond self-ego, like Milarepa to Marpa, Naropa to Tilopa, then you can receive great blessing, transcend space and time, from the wisdom enlightened mind of your root Lama, that embodies 3 times Buddha's blessing.
The problem is so called "faith", most of the time for beginners, is only conditional fake faith, it varies according to one's judgement from moment to moment.
Enlightenment path needs:「Renunciation, Faith, Boddhicitta」, with these foundation, then your Lama's nectar-like teaching can possibly blossom your nature.
《真正的信心 & 依對上師的虔敬為道》
時時要保持良好的動機(菩提心),和對你根本上師真誠的信心,這不是符合你自我喜好才生出的暫時信心,而是絕對堅定不移的虔敬心,如果你能生出這種超越我執不動搖的虔敬心,如密勒日巴對馬爾巴,那洛巴對帝洛巴那樣,你能從已悟道的根本上師那裏得到智慧身的大加持,這種加持超越了時間和空間,聚集了三世諸佛的加持。
問題是所謂的"信心",對初修者來說多半是虛假的信心,依自我判斷以滿足自我某種需要,時時變動
明心見性之路需要:「出離(放棄浪費生命的習慣),真誠的信心,菩提心」,有了這些基礎,上師如同甘露般的教言才可能讓你明悟自性。
5 《How to encounter nature》
Nature of our mind is originally Buddha, but temporarily covered by defilement and not knowing this self- nature.
People had been mistakenly use their mind in conceptual way, but not knowing its nature, for many life times, so solid habitual tendency formed.
The discursive thought, accept/reject ideas generated every second, these defilements covered our nature.
Initially, the skillful mean to purify this heavy habitual tendency of conceptualization, is to develop Boddhicitta, and to generate Refuge & Faith to root Lama (the embodiment of three jewel), completely surrender yourself, this way the negative habitual tendency of ego and conceptualization can be greatly purified, and you will have some genuine pure feeling in your heart, and if you retain this feeling it will purify Karma, and accelerate the process to recognize the nature of your mind.
《如何見性》
自性原本是正覺,但為妄念與不識自性暫時遮障,
未悟道者多生多世重複錯誤使用自心,卻不識本性,產生了根深蒂固的錯誤習性,
心時刻不斷地生出種種思想念頭、取捨判斷,遮蔽了自性。
初修者能有效淨化這種業力習氣的的方法是「發展菩提心」和「真誠依止根本上師(三寶總集的代表)」,完全放下我執,一心虔敬依止,用這種方法能迅速淨化我執妄心,你的內心會生起真誠體驗,如果能保持這種體驗,能迅速淨化業障,加速體認自心本性的過程。
6 《Meditate to encounter reality of self nature, instead of just gathering knowledge》
Long time Buddhist who read many books might create lots of concepts, judgements. All those generate more concepts and emotions.
When you really encounter the nature of your mind, that is beyond any concepts.
So condense all the things you learned, put it into simple essence key points, not indulge on generating more concepts, and meditate on the true nature of your mind and nature of all phenomenon.
《禪修體認自性而非只一味作知識性學習》
讀了很多佛學書籍的佛教徒心中可能會產生很多的概念和判斷,這些東西攙雜在一起容易生出更多的概念和情緒來。
當你真面見自性的時候,是超越任何心意識作用和概念的,
因此把你所學的一切歸納出關鍵要點,超越概念心,透過禪修去直接參悟心的本性和一切現像的本性。
7 《Meditation》
Adjust the looseness & tightness of meditation practice, just do it authentically without too much 「hope/fear/frustrate/I want to gain..」. those are ordinary mind's delusion thought, let it self-liberate.
《禪修》
禪修需鬆緊適中,如法禪修時,不要任凡心生出的「期望/擔心/挫折感/想達到什麼目標等」念頭纏縛下去…,那些都是凡心生出的雜念,勿制勿隨任其自起自消。
8 《Practice in genuine but simple way》
Enlightenment is unconditional absolute state, most simple things like genuine feeling of unconditional faith and compassion can help blossom the nature of mind, not the superficial Dharma knowledge, or which high Lama you know.
Authentic simplest practice could lead to profound result, it is most important to actualize essence level of genuine Dharma
《單純如法的修持》
悟道是絕對的狀態,最單純的品質-像真誠不動的信心和慈悲心能幫助見到自性,而不是僅知識性的佛法,或是你認識那位有名的法王上師。
真實如法但單純的修持,卻能達到深入的結果,如何落實佛法的精髓部份極度重要。
9 《Fault to avoid》
I have seen lots so called 「senior Vajrayana practitioner」 did many years of crazy Dharma shopping, accumulated tons of superficial knowledge, but not encountering their nature of mind, not even established true 「Refuge」 and 「Boddhicitta」, still very heavy self-ego, afflicting emotions, that is very dangerous, and we have no precious time to waste like that.
《勿犯此錯誤》
我見過很多所謂「資深」的密宗修行者,像瘋狂大採購般學習多年,積聚了很多知識性的資料,但卻未見性悟道,甚至沒有生起真正的「皈依」和「菩提心」,仍然我執深重,煩惱情緒多,那是非常危險的,寶貴的時間不能像這樣浪費。
10 《Advice》
「Pure genuine Faith, Compassion, Mindfulness」 will blossom the wisdom & liberation fruit, experience it with your deep genuine heart beyond conceptual part of mind, once actualized, do not separate from these qualities in one single moment, and actualize in the behavior level in daily life, that will remove lots of ignorance and obstacle, and lead to true wisdom.
《建議》
