We worry about the federal finance minister, we really do. Every time you pick up a newspaper, there he is saying something patently ridiculous, contradicted by the known facts,

Flaherty says: “Unemployment is near its lowest level in 30 years with nearly 1 million net new jobs created since this government took office.…” — Toronto Star, Dec. 6

Meanwhile, out here in the real world: “Statistics Canada… report[s] that almost 71,000 Canadians lost jobs in November, the largest single-month drop in 26 years.” — Toronto Star, Dec. 6
