I am concerned about Harper's political gamemanship. I am equally, if not more, conerned about what the coalition would bring to us. Dion, Layton have nothing lose, BQ has everything to gain, but, liberal could lose big time.

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛I am kind of "economically conservative and socially liberal". So, generally, I don't care whether it is liberal or conservative to run the government.

However, I don't like the idea of bringing in NDP and BQ. In order to stay in power, liberal will have to compromise too much to NDP and PQ. By compromising too much to NDP, I think we will for sure to see a bigger deficit than it would have been with either Tory or Grit rule alone. The spending one various programs will be under the broad name of "economy stimulation". This will for sure followed by higher tax, probably for both individual and business so that the future government, no matter which party it will be, can balance the book. All these would just screw everybody down the road. Although I agree that we should keep those big corporation in constant check, I totally oppose NDP's atitute towards big business, i.e. treating them like enemy of state. They seem failed to understand that actually big corporation usually provide most of the "high quality" job in a society.

As for BQ, they will for sure to try to gain more from the rest of Canada. Liberal may have to agree to provide even more dispropotioned benefit to Quebec, which is taken from all other provinces including Ontario.

If Liberal cannot manage the situation properly, this coaliation can be very costly to Liberal.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
