My father didn't come this time, I didn't have any relatives in US(even you have, don't mention in the forms), Me and my wife are Citizens already and have stable jobs and house in Toronto(just bought this year). So just let the officer think that we don't care too much about the visa of US. If we got it, just for travelling and enjoyment, otherwise forget it. That's the way we do think so.
And he/she will ask you the BIG question: "why don't you apply in China?" It's very tricky,be careful!! You cann't tell them coz mom&dad don't know English; it's not so easy to apply in China;......you should tell them they don't plan to go to US(NOT intended),you can tell they heard from your neighbours or it's so close to Baffulo, Blah Blah...
