Nice small city for studying, but not a business/industrial city

Two small grocery stores in downtown where you can buy some Chinese food. Not as many choices as in Toronto and the price is higher, considering the cost they have and the small customer-base in-town.
Rental is relatively lower, two bedroom apartments were around $500/month back a few years - 10~15 minutes walk to Queen's campus.
Very quite and beautiful in the summer. A lot of nice places to go if you have a car.
People are generally friendly and Queen's students contributes a lot to local economy.
Suggestion? Go study at Queen's is a great idea. Complete your education as soon as possible and leave for cities with more job/business opportunities.

                When I visited Queen's web site, I found the rental is higher than what you said. I am living in Toronto now and I don't know much about it. Could you please tell me more about the rental?
