( Fortunately they were not in power when Bush first went to Iraq). In the end they will run into deficit, , and taxpayers will still get a bill. Many conservative voters, including people in this forum, don't openly say it, but the important issue for them is really region, gay marriage, abortion, and other ideology stuff. Sorry, I can't be in that camp.
Provincial election is more important to people's daily life. Health care, schools are all from provincial budget. The reason I vote conservatives provincially is that the liberals are too close to the unions, I am sick of unions in schools, public transit, government agencies. Someone should tell them to take a hike.
The candidate actually matter less. Dion looks like a nerd, but charismatic leaders often do more damage.
