Don't think so. A canadian citizen can not drive a US car in canada, only if it's been imported. I'd been in such situation.

I was driving a California car went back Vancouver. Canada customs did allow me get in but refused my car get in. Either import the car, or leave the car in the States.The car worth nothing, but I had whole lot stuff on car, and I need the car for just a month. I had no choice, turn back to states, and tried to do export/import process. But the things was that's 2 days before Xmas, it's impossible get whole thing done in time. The US car export officer would be off in 45mins. So they sent me to a immgration officer let him do a fast process, them I had been checked from bottom to top, and got a deny entry I-160A. That allow me went back canada do a fast force import.
