I had my H1B visa on my PRC passport before, and later I got my Canada passport. by kitty_cat (cheese cake) at 2007.6.7 11:39

When I passed the boarder, I handed two passports (Chinese and Canada). The officer there tore off my I-94 and attached it to my new Canada passport. He also attached my I-797 on my new Canada passport. Finally he told that from now on I could only use my Canada passport and documents on it. I am not sure whether I answered your question. This is only my experience. Good luck!

Did anyone have experience of transfering H1B visa in Chinese passport to H status on canadian passport? Could it be done at weekends at border? What document need to bring for the transfer? Thanks!
