The first requirement is "Request for admission under TN status to DHS, Custom and Border Protection".
There are two possible meanings as I guess.
1. it only means you go to border and tell border officer you want to apply TN
2. it means a TN letter from employer's HR or attorney addressed to border officer to outline purpose of employment.
Which meaning is correct?
I have checked history and someone said TN letter is optional. which means no. 1 is right.
