Homemade bab food (8 months and系列之 spinach, salmon and rice

1/4 cup chopped onion 50 ml
1/2 cup long-grain white rice 125 ml
1 cup water (approx.) 250 ml
1 cup chopped fresh spinach 250 ml
4 oz skinless salmon fillet 125 g
1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice 5 ml

1. In a medium saucepan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook, stirring, until tender but not browned, about 3 minutes.
2. Add rice and stir until coated with oil. Stir in water and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer until most of the water has been absorbed and rice is slightly tender, about 15 minutes.
3. Arrange spinach and salmon on top of rice; cover and continue to cook until spinach is wilted an salmon flakes easily when tested with a fork, about 10 minutes. Let sit, covered, for 10 minutes.
4. Transfer to blender, add lemon juice and puree on high speed to desired consistency, adding more water if necessary.

VARIATION
