Reports to: General Manager
The Information System Administrator is accountable for providing a
maintained network of servers and communication devices to users and for the
development and implementation of new business operating and reporting
systems.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Ensure operational availability of data servers, and communication links
such as phone systems, through troubleshooting and maintenance
- Provide Network Security of data servers, user devices, and communication
links.
- Provide necessary implementation n and maintenance of Visual Plant,
Kronos, and ADP M2K(ERP), and MicroSoft products.
- Provide necessary maintenance of servers, LAN/WAN and personal computers.
- Maintain inventory of all computer, printers, and copiers.
- Provide purchase options of all new computer equipment requirements and
prepare Capital Requisitions for Senior Management approval
Perform other reasonable assignments given by senior management
Qualifications
R= Required?A=Acquired?D= Desired
- Post Secondary Diploma or equivalent education (R)
- Excellent communication and analytical skills (R)
- Systems Administration experience of 2-3 years in a manufacturing
environment (R)
- Knowledge of IS14001 and QS9000 (A)
- Knowledge of WAN/LAN (R)
- Knowledge of PC's, Printers and copiers (R)
- Knowledge of MS Products (R)
- Windows NT/2000/2003, and Exchange (R)
- MS Outlook (R)
- SQL Server (R)
- Active Directory (R)
