Petro-Canada is currenly looking for an Intermediate Geophysicist.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Specific Functional/Technical Skills
Intermediate industry experience level (minimum 5 years) with at least a BSc in geophysics.
Background in interpreting seismic data in faulted and folded terrains.
Familiar with seismic processing techniques employed in structured areas.
Experience as an explorationist working in areas with variable quantities and qualities of data.
Familiarity with Mississippian and Devonian stratigraphy in NE British Columbia and central Alberta would be an asset.
Experience interacting with partner companies in technical exchanges would be an asset.
General Skills / Knowledge / Attributes
The ideal candidate will possess:
Well developed communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational skills and prioritization abilities.
