As a key member of the QA team, this individual will be responsible for contributing to qualifying product deliverables in a thorough, methodical, and timely fashion. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing product requirements to produce test requirements, and the development and execution of both automated and manual functional/system tests for a multi-tiered environment.

Job Responsibilities:
* Create test plans, test requirements, test scenarios, and test data for use during the functional and system test phases of the software development process for new and existing applications.
* Automate test scenarios to effectively test all applications
* Setup and maintain a complete, efficient, and reusable test automation suite.
* Create load/stress testing scenarios and execute tests
* Ensure that test plans and scenarios fully exercise every aspect of the product
* Ability to produce, document, and present formal test plans.
* Lead the test effort for assigned projects.
* Develop and maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of products, including performance and utilization requirements of product features being tested.
* Interact directly with the development team. Report and document issues discovered in testing, and follow up for resolution.
* Participate in software requirements reviews, design reviews, and change control activities.
* Good teamwork skills and ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Interact with the client, users, and other team members


Job Requirements:
* BA/BS. Computer Science or related degree preferred.
* 5+ years of hands-on QA testing experience in client server and/or web based applications environment.
* 3+ years in-depth automated testing experience
* 1+ years load/stress testing experience
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
* RDBMS experience (MS SQL Server and/or Oracle), able to write SQL queries.
* Good understanding of the fundamentals of web architectures.
* Good understanding of quality assurance processes and testing methodology.
* Knowledge of the entire software development process (SDLC).
* Self-motivated, requiring minimal oversight.
* Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
* Programming .NET, XML, C#, SOAP and Web Services a plus

Candidate will be responsible for all software configuration management activities for all Green Dot Corporation software. These activities include establishing a stable and efficient build process, developing and refining configuration management procedures, configuring software for, and deploying software to, various environments, and working with the development and QA teams to ensure software quality.

Job Responsibilities:

* Develop, refine, and maintain configuration processes and procedures.
* Develop, refine, and maintain build and installation processes and procedures.
* Control the release of a product and changes to it throughout its lifecycle.
* Branch and merge code as needed, in consultation with development
* Develop detailed auditing and reporting of the current status and history of all components related to a product.
* Develop a schema for identifying a particular configuration of a product, which includes the structure of the software such as components, dependencies, and versioning.
* Maintain solid working version of different baseline applications, allowing custom configurations to be build upon this base application.
* Manage version control tools (e.g., Visual Source Safe) and procedures.
* Troubleshoot build issues and work with the development team to resolve issues.
* Manage build environment, and automate build, deployment, and other configuration management tasks.
* Configure and maintain various environments (e.g., Development, QA, Staging)
* Create, maintain, and configure Visual Studio.Net Solutions.
* Deploy software to various environments.
* Interact with the users and other team members
* Good teamwork skills and ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of software products.
* Assist with development efforts when necessary.
* Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:

* BA/BS. Computer Science or related degree preferred.

* 2+ years programming experience (.NET/C++/Java).
* 7+ years in a software development environment.
* Strong RDBMS experience (MS SQL Server and/or Oracle).
* In-depth knowledge of Visual Source Safe and other source control tools.
* Experience using Visual Studio.NET and the Visual Source Safe API for Automation.
* Knowledge of configuration management industry standards and best practices.
* Understand the configuration management role from a quality assurance perspective.
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent team organizational and coordination skills.
* In-depth knowledge of the entire software development process (SDLC).
* Good understanding of the fundamentals of web architectures.
* Self-motivated, requiring minimal oversight.
* Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
