With a proud legacy spanning over 40 years this progressive 300+ person organization has a modern processing facility that includes all R&D, Production, Packaging and Distribution of consumer products shipped globally. The company’s Head Quarters is located in Batavia, NY. Our client is expanding and is positioned to continue to add new products lines to drive sales and increase employment. As part of their success the company is in need of an experienced MIS Analyst to work at the corporate HQ in order to help ensure the efficient and effective use of IT applications including the enhanced use of a new corporate ERP system. This successful individual would be responsible for analyzing the information needs of the user community and the management team in order to make IT applications more efficient and effective throughout the facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES / QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2+ years experience in the IT Industry with specific experience supporting an ERP system in a manufacturing environment
• Programming experience in Windows based programming languages (Access, Visual Basic, .NET, C#, SQL Server or similar)
• Experience creating new reports, running ad-hoc queries and downloading information from ERP systems
• Experience as the sole or lead project manager on system initiatives for new module creation / implementation and for new functionality to existing modules
• Analytical ability to pro-actively identify and make performance improvements and changes in current system functionality and processes surrounding ERP system usage
• ERP system maintenance functions including backup and recovery and version upgrades
