role of Junior Web Developer.
The candidate must have a related college degree, or 2-3 years of experience
working with internet based technologies.
The position is located in our offices in Kitchener Ontario.
The successful applicant will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Code / design new or existing web sites, and web applications
Assess client requirements and develop technical design specifications
Play a supporting role with the development team through detail design,
development and implementation of web-based solutions
Provide customer/technical support and problem resolution
Skills Required:
Work independently or with a team
Excellent English oral and written communication skills
Ability to multitask while keeping attention to detail and accuracy
A self starter able to work as part of a team
Adaptable and willing to take on new challenges which may include quickly
learning new technologies
Web graphic optimization and preparation
Technical / Educational Requirements:
College level related degree or 2-3 years of web design/development experience
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, javascript
Development language knowledge an asset (Coldfusion, PHP, ASP.NET)
SQL / database experience
Strong debugging and architecture skills
