SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as presses, motors, power transmission systems, belts, conveyors, fans, pistons and pneumatic systems. 2. Disassemble machines and repair or replace broken or faulty components. 3. Adjust mechanical/pneumatic devices for sales and efficient operation. 4. Perform preventative maintenance on a specified or as needed basis. 5. Perform all work and tasks within OHSA regulations. 6. Perform minor electrical troubleshooting and work such as change fuses, lights and minor electrical components. QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS • 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment • Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills relative to the job description • Good oral and written communication skills • Machining skills an asset • Welding certification an asset • Accredited mechanic’s license an asset
