Sr Oracle Developer - Direct Hire - Buffalo, NY Salary in the mid to hight 60`s.
Rare, technical position that is highly visible to the external client. Work in an enterprise level Oracle 8 and 9 environment performing advanced data development in a Data Warehouse environment. Interface directly with clients to understand their requirements and determine data output requirements. Perform functional and technical analysis to figure the best and most efficient way of querying and performance optimizing queries running against a massive data set. Accept large amounts of customer data, write procedures to cleanse and optimize it. Track, aggregate and identify data trends.
Lots of room to grow technically and advance professionally.
Successful candidate will have 3+ years Oracle development experience. Strong PL/SQL, including advanced query writing, and query optimizing techniques. Database design skills using tools such as Erwin preferred. UNIX Shell scripting to maove and manage files and data required. Strong communication and analytical problem solving required.
