- Manage network operations and support/maintain servers(mail, web, firewall, etc),

- Desktops (Linux/Windows) and corporate network including security, virus management, onsite and offsite backups and recovery.

- Manage data connectivity, VPN, software updates, system monitoring, corporate website, printers, telephone system, security equipment and future growth.

- Manage backup/restore and disaster recovery procedures in all environments

- Plan and develop desktop/network resources;

- Provide Linux/Windows Network support to internal development group

- Evaluate, recommend, coordinate and carry out all new hardware and software purchases

- Maintain inventory of hardware, software, licensing and registration information

- Ensure uninterrupted network availability that exceeds client expectations



Key Competencies:



- 3-5 years Windows server NT/2000/2003/98/95

- 2 -3 years Active Directory and Citrix Metaframe experience a MUST

- Windows/Exchange Server 2003 .

- 3 years experience with Linux administration, including knowledge of: Apache, sendmail, dns, linux firewalls

- 3 years experience computer hardware, TCP/IP and LAN networking

- 3 years experience with Internet technologies( HTML, FTP, Perl, Tomcat), IIS 5&6, MS Outlook/Exchange 2003 server, Veritas Backup Exec 10., Symantec Antivirus

- Understanding of Routing, Managed Switches, SAN Technology, and Basic Java technology





Education and other Requirements:



Bachelor in computer science, information technology or equivalent experience
