To perform design, analysis, programming and integration activities in the development of software for train control systems.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
Ø Conceptual and detailed design of systems or portion of systems.
Ø Analyses and clarification of customer requirements using company standard methodology.
Ø Designs system-software based on company standard methodology.
Ø Performs system analysis and design using CASE tools.
Ø Implements real time systems in 'C' (or equivalent).
Ø Designs, produces, integrates and tests software code.
Ø Ensures that designs are implemented according to plan identifying errors and omissions in requirements and ensure that they are resolved.
Ø Supervises and reviews work of technical staff to ensure that design procedures and documentation standards are adhered to.
Ø Provides input for cost estimates.
Ø Investigates problems in the field.
Ø Provides technical assistance/insight to other departments.
Ø Assists in motivation and instruction of staff.
Ø Keeps abreast of relevant technology developments.
Ø Incumbent may be assigned temporarily to another software team performing the same tasks.
BASIC SKILL LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
Ø B.Sc. Electrical Engineering, Computer Science plus 3 – 5 years relevant work experience or equivalent
Ø Knowledge of railway signalling techniques (with exception of new hire - to be trained).
Ø Knowledge of company product (SELTRAC, with exception of new hire - to be trained).
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
The following are assets for any of these positions:
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal; good interpersonal skills; proven ability to work independently; excellent knowledge of real time software and system applications; understanding of software lifecycle; experience with team leadership, software project management; knowledge of Assembler, C, C++, Structured Design, UML, Solaris, NT or OS/2 operating systems.更多精彩文章及讨论，请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
