Design and develop application code on Weblogic, Orion and Interwoven Teamsite
Design and develop application components and work with Database Developer to access database
Work with production operations to manage the implementation of changes and resolution of problems
Installation, configuration and upgrading of web server software and related products in development environment
Perform web application tuning and performance monitoring
Setup and maintain documentation and standards
Qualifications
Core Competencies: Customer Service Orientation, Teamwork and Collaboration, Adaptability, Initiative, Integrity, Individual Accountability and Operational Excellence
Role Specific Competencies: Innovative/Creating Thinking; Problem Solving/Judgement; Achievement Orientation; Listening, Understanding and Responding.
University degree or equivalent relevant experience
Strong organization skills and excellent attention to details
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently on multiple simultaneous tasks within a challenging fast paced team and customer oriented environment.
Expertise with Java, Perl and related utilities and tools.
Experience with Linux Operating system; Orion or WebLogic application servers; Apache web servers; broadcast email systems and automated testing tools is an asset.
Experience in code migration, database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle
